What are your fees?
Do you accept insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, or offer sliding scale fees?
No. I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. You may request a Superbill to submit for potential reimbursement. Check your policy for out-of-network benefits.
Can I pay with my HSA?
Yes, HSA and FSA cards are accepted.
Can you complete paperwork for insurance claims or prescription authorizations?
Yes. These services are billed at the administrative rate of $350/hour (prorated).
What testing do you offer?
In-office: EKG, strep, flu, COVID, and UTI testing.
Labs: drawn in the office and billed through insurance or discounted cash prices.
Imaging: Referred to local radiology centers.
How will you do a physical exam?
In-person exams are hands-on. For telehealth, I guide you through an observed self-exam. Most internal medicine concerns can be safely managed without a physical exam.
When can I use telemedicine appointments?
Telemedicine is available for urgent issues, chronic condition management, follow-ups, and comprehensive health assessments.
Can you handle emergency situations?
Yes—during business hours. After-hours concerns should be directed to urgent care or your local emergency room.
If my condition can’t be treated online, can I still receive advice?
Absolutely. Even if an in-person visit is ultimately needed, I can offer guidance and help you navigate next steps.
How will I have labs drawn?
You’ll receive lab orders for LabCorp or Quest. In Atlanta, mobile phlebotomy is available.
Can I get a prescription?
Yes, if medically appropriate. Controlled substances require an in-person visit and are only prescribed to patients in Georgia. Pain management is not offered.
Can you prescribe controlled substances?
Controlled substances can only be prescribed to Georgia residents and require an in-person exam. I do not provide chronic pain management.
How are prescriptions sent to a pharmacy?
All prescriptions are sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice.
Can you refill my routine medication?
Yes, routine medications can be refilled for established patients.
How do I start my video visit?
Click the secure link in your appointment confirmation email. No downloads or logins required.
What should I do if I need to cancel or reschedule a video visit?
You can manage this directly through your confirmation email. Payments are refunded or applied to your next appointment.
